Sistar is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels.
Sistar is used to treat hypertension.
Sistar may also be used for other purposes not listed in Sistar guide.

Sistar side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Usual Adult Dose for Hypertension:

Initial dose: 5 mg orally once a day
Maintenance dose: 2.5 to 10 mg orally once a day
