Treating type 2 diabetes in adults. It is used along with diet and exercise. Misobit may be used alone or in combination with other diabetes medicines.
Misobit is a glucosidase inhibitor. It works by slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates into glucose. This results in a smaller rise in blood sugar levels following a meal.

Lab tests, including blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels, may be performed while you use Misobit. These tests may be used to monitor your condition or check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
Misobit with should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN; safety and effectiveness in children have not been confirmed.
